Wow that sucks.

They make great premium headphones. Just fantastic sound signature. The Grado RS1i are one of the best listening experiences I've ever had. Sad to hear this.

What he did for the headphone industry was great.

The Grado house sound, even with all the slack it gets from some people, serves a great amount of people a way to really listen to Rock without having to break the bank for a mid-tier system.
