I dont know about selling out, but they dont come close to the Lakers in terms of profit and pure dollars to spend. Nobody does.

nothing has ever been stopping the spurs from paying duncan his true worth all these years.. they do it and tim accepts it cause they like rigging the deck and having a bench thats comparable to most starting lineups..

if kobe 6-7 years ago started taking 7 million to rig titles. nobody would have given him credit for them

its not about selling out arenas. The lakers have huge television deals and other things (merchandising etc) that allow them to spend lux tax money.

Depends how they did it though and even then it's not valid with shaq and duncan since Shaq was getting paid at least 20 in miami (he prob cause of made like 22 which isn't a huge cut) and not like duncan going to go anywere else plus it's part of his personality anyways. Parker, manu and duncan would all take cuts to play together Pop included.
