He's taking an extended break until he gets back to the form he used to know, which will probably never happen. He also cited that he wanted to spend more time with the ones that he loves.
Good bye sweet prince, it was a good run.

Well practice is the way to improve yourself, not actually playing rounds. But the truth is that he's tired of being an embarrassment, which he has been since the beginning of 2014. This is basically the real life version of Space Jam, but with a golfer.

He's still playing.
Right now, I need a lot of work on my game, and to still spend time with the people that are important to me. My play, and scores, are not acceptable for tournament golf. Like I've said, I enter a tournament to compete at the highest level, and when I think I'm ready, I'll be back. Next week I will practice at Medalist and at home getting ready for the rest of the year. I am committed to getting back to the pinnacle of my game. I'd like to play The Honda Classic -- it's a tournament in my hometown and it's important to me -- but I won't be there unless my game is tournament-ready. That's not fair to anyone. I do, however, expect to be playing again very soon.

Just wait til your back fully healed and for a good coach for your next swing that suits your body, Tiger.

What is the average age of retirement for a gold pro? like 90ish?...92 maybe?
Tiger is almost 40, he can probably take a couple years to practice and plow a few porn stars...get that young mind set back

its odd how no black guys have broken into the PGA after Tiger. i know so many black friends who started playing golf and still do and the courses definitely had more black people after Tiger.
Tiger went downhill ever since he went hollywood and got married :coleman:

Black people can't afford hitting balls and losing them.
They cannot afford the membership to country clubs
THe only sports black people are good at are the playground sports, football, basketball.
THey aren't even good at baseball cuz they can't afford hitting balls out to the stands.

90? Really?
Most pro's are totally done by age 45 in terms of competing in majors. The great ones around age 50. At that point they move onto the SR tour, where they compete until age 65 or so. At that point, they're done.
LOL @ 90

Yeah it was a joke, most people don't even live to see 90 lol
