I was thinking Harden might be, how pure is his stroke?

Redick is in it too... so many perfectionist shooters are going to be on display

Yeah Harden is arguable as well. He's really good off the dribble - one of the best...but for this type of competition he may not be the best suited.

Korver's shooting is out of this world!

Belli is a boss and would rape Harden.

In other news, this is obvs the best line up, hows that even a good question?

Great set up and potentially the most even competition, but I doubt it will create as great of a memory as Bird did.

On paper? Yes, I think so... but 1st gotta see how they perform.

High chances for it to be epic but it can also be a huge letdown if they don't shoot it at their normal game rate, let's say.

Oh, and I'm hoping for no money-ball rack bullshit...

I'm always torn on that. I like that there is 1 ball that puts more pressure on them, but ultimately the pressure should be there regardless, so I agree. Lets just count shots that go in rather than having a relatively arbitrary ball that is double the points.

Just keep it with one money-ball at the end of each rack, as they did since the start (before last year)...

Maximum score was always 30... Last year it was 34, and that's just bullshit imho.

Belinelli has 24 points which is the 2nd best mark, yet he did it with the money-ball rack, so it should have an asterisk...

If they changed it back to 3 rounds yes.

Ferrari is a lock though, b2b :pimp:

The NBA always does this, it's deliberate.

Keep changing the goal posts so records can keep being broken in various forms. It's to keep drawing new fans in and keep casual fans interested - it makes the sport seem progressive and ever improving. But purists or people who've followed the game for a while tend to get innevitably annoyed because it's obvious to them what's going on. It's sometimes a slap in the face to accomplishments set by extremely rare or gifted talent/performances of the past too when their record suddenly is made easier to break by new opportunities.

Awesome. With superstars no longer participating in the dunk competition, the long range shooting display will (and already has, in my opinion) replace the high flyers as the main attraction.

BTW, will the dunk contest still include that GOD awful format? :oldlol:

Yesterday's game the announcer said Kyrie's catch and shoot percentage since the trades has actually been 49% 2nd only to Korver so he's also on a hot streak lately

Yeah, he has been on fire. I don't have his C&S figures for the past 14 games, but he is shooting 51.5% overall from three on 7.1 attempts per game in that span. That's pretty crazy.
