Only thing I'd disagree with is, I think Wade gets Finals MVP

prime Kobe playing on all star teams for 5 straight years of his prime would be even better

Nope. Kobe played just as bad against the 2011 Mavs. They lose to the Bulls or Celtics.

Who would play SF? Kobe wouldn't stop Dirk either. People seem to forget that amidst the LeBron choke, Dirk was playing out of his mind and had one of the best individual playoff performances ever.

How the **** is Kobe better than MJ?

Nope. Kobe can't win a playoff series without a dominant big man to turn his bricks into easy points.

I don't think it would work nowhere near as well.

Wade and LeBron specialized in the open court, where they were both the best slashers and finishers in the NBA. 2011 Kobe isn't running the break with Wade catching and throwing alley oops.

Also, LeBron is a much better playmaker, which the Heat needed, because since Jason Williams, the Heat have had shitshows for point guards. You would have Chalmers and Mike Bibby doing more playmaking without LeBron.

Plus 2011 LeBron>> 2011 Kobe, who was pitiful vs the Mavs as well. So even if the Heat somehow got past the Celtics (needed 30\8\4 from Wade and 28\8\6 from LeBron) I doubt they get past the Bulls. If they somehow do, they don't beat Dallas anyhow.

Wouldn't make sense.

How the hell do you lose with prime Wade and Bosh. :facepalm

2011 is one of the many reasons why I'll never consider LeBron an all-time great. You could insert a lot of players for Lebron and they still win.

at 26 years you shouldn't be THAT scared of the moment... that's some junior high shit. Dude looked like a deer in headlights.

"One of the greats"

Wouldn't work year one for the same reason it probably didn't work for the heat in 2011. Kobe and wade aren't buddies, so I'm not certain they would have coexist long enough to make it happen. They would have been at each others throats out the gate. And also how would Kobe manage to plug the holes in the roster lebron filled?

Although he outscored Lebron, (barely) Bosh was very inefficient in the 2011 Finals. I believe he shot just 40 percent for the series. Doesn't exactly scream dominant to me. :confusedshrug:

Those are actually his numbers for the entire 2011 playoffs, where he shot 47% as well

If he also could have gotten them to the Finals, where as in one of those series he had to shut down Derrick Rose completely... then maybe...

Next Lebron troll thread....

Real all time greats like Bron are able to power through minor contact like that. Durant will never be on Bron's level cause he can't adjust to playoff basketball in which the refs don't give him every call.

No.. it doesn't work like that. That game goes to OT and OKC wins... they're up 2-0 in the series. How many teams have come back from 2-0 in the finals?

And KD was called for fouls without touching anybody in that game. He should have never been in foul trouble to begin with. The series was clearly rigged and he still scored 31 on 55%.

OKC = 2012 NBA Champions.

So you admit it was a foul and OKC won the championship that year? Agreed.

:facepalm OKC fans are too spoiled by getting every call in the regular season. Lebron gets hammered worse than that every game with no call, yet you don't see his fans crying.
Even if the foul had been called, we all know that Durant's free throw shooting percentage DRAMATICALLY drops off in the playoffs. Tends to happen to players who are mentally fragile. :lol

Are you guys ****ing stupid? Lets take a small lineup and make it even smaller. Yeah, that totally makes sense. :facepalm

Who the heck is going to play SF?

11 Wade and Prme Kobe + Bosh might not have lost a playoff game in the east
They played a 7th ranked defense in the first round, a 2nd ranked defense in the second (56 wins), and the best defense in the league in the ECF (62 wins).

Kobe and Wade would probably win more than Russel's Celtics tbh

is this even a question? If he can win with gasol how much more for wade/bosh. Even bosh is better than gasol.

Nash

kobe would demand a trade with a front court of Joel Anthony, Juwan Howard, Dampier and Illgauskas.

I mean, Lakers got the sweep from Dallas that same playoffs and they had Gasol and Bynum which is a much better fit for Kobe.

they would not even beat Boston or Chicago.

Prime Kobe would've won in 2011 no doubt. That Miami Heat team should have won it all that year if not for Lebron shitting his pants and disappearing on the grandest stage. Greatest choke in modern basketball continuing the legacy of his grandpa Wilt.

2011 Kobe on 2011 Heat, in place of James? I don't even see them getting past the Celtics in the second round. Wade and Kobe is a bad fit.
