Or the Miami Heat's 3 total rings for that matter, since 1 of those is his anyways.

That pisses mee the *** off so much. If Dirk got that ring he deserved in 06 and another in 11, he would seriously be in convo for top 15 all time. Instead, that diva overrated ass floppin nikka named Wade has gotten a nod as some great ass player
Well with that logic his 1 ring holds more weight than any of Jordan's aswell....

according to my ring calculator. If 1st option is valued 4 then 2nd option is 2 and ring chaser is 1. Then 4>>2

Will the Heat even finish in the top 10 without LeBron this year? :lol They are only 2 games from 12th place...

It absolutely does, unfortunately, Bron's got many MVPs and great stats.
Dirk's championship run was legendary. Bron was a disappointment overall on the biggest stage, despite getting some wins.
If Bron and Dirk each had 1 MVP, I could see someone saying Dirk had the better resume. But Bron has many more. However, 2 rings vs 1 is not a huge difference.
Who knows how history will think of Bron (besides the whole "reshaping the superstar to a business minded individual") if he doesn't win any more rings. And, despite his posh circumstance, it's a possibility.
Dirk will always be the guy who came out of nowhere one year (even tho I think a bunch of us said that team was a championship caliber team.) He's like Hakeem except that I feel Dirk's run was more legendary. I have personally never seen anything like what happened in his playoff run. The closest thing I can think of is Derek Fisher catching fire from 3 that one year, but obviously it's not even close to the same thing.

2x NBA Finals MVP, 4x NBA MVP > 1x NBA MVP, and 1x Finals MVP.

Maybe, but Lebron has better accolades, numbers, and accomplishments. Combine all that with Lebron being just an objectively better basketball player and I think it's clear who deserves to be ranked higher.

Dude...he already is.
Not saying it's clear cut, but by the time Dirk retires...nobody is going to scoff at putting Dirk in the top 15 all time.
After about 11...it really becomes wide open in my opinion.

As a Heat fan, seeing how bad Miami does without Lebron si heart breaking and makes me appreciate Lebron's greatness.
Trolls will be trolls though.

They're currently in the playoffs with their best two players being injured for most of the season. FUN FACT: Chris Bosh and Jason Terry once outscored LeBron James in a NBA Finals series that he lost. Bring up a comparable Jordan finals series lol. Go search basketball-reference.com now. Add all the filters you think will help your argument. Be mad when nothing works. Go back and try it again. Get even more mad. Think of me laughing at you. Get even more mad. lol.)
Best forum Jeff. Thanks for everything ;)
