Those are just the numbers (which Tyson destroys Ellis in).

If you watch the games it should become obviously clear that Chandler has a larger influence on the outcome.

Really? I know he left the Clippers game but I thought he was cool.

Day-to-day?

Anyway, Z-Bo deserves it over any Maverick. :confusedshrug:

LMAO @ at a Spurs fan being mad that Dirk is in. Do you realize Duncan made the ASG as well even tho he shouldnt have?

If a Mav was gonna make it, it should have been Ellis. He has been great for us this year, and is a true warrior.

Mad? I'm 100% cool with it. Dirk is one of my favourite players. :facepalm

Just saying there were more deserving players. Which, objectively speaking, there were.

I said numerous times that Cousins deserved it over Tim too. :oldlol:

Then who else was there?

Nah, coach decides.

Curry/Harden/Klay/LMA/Gasol maybe? Or Durant instead of Aldridge maybe?

Hmmm, I'd be surprised if he did.

Kerr said that Harden and Klay will start. So it's just the other spot open. Maybe it will be Dirk though, who knows. :lol

**** Monta. Dirk is still the best player on the Mavs. Though I doubt Dirk even wanted to make it...he probably wanted to just chill and recharge his batteries.

Its not uncommon for great players to get life-time achievement picks, even when there are more deserving players. Like Kobe was voted how many times in All-NBA D teams? Like 7 seasons more than he deserved, and All-star nod is worth even less than that (in which Kobe also would have been if not injury), pure popularity contest.

R.I.P.

Probably cause the Mavs have the 8th best record in the league and nobody at the game that he got it over Z-Bo&Conley. Should have gone to Ellis though, but he

Didn't they have to add a big man....or at least didn't they want to with Davis out.

I mean, Tyson deserved it over any Maverick player, but he's injured.

Ellis would have been nice, but I bet they wanted to add a big.

Randolph could have made it, but not like he's been much better or something.

Randolph/Chandler/Deandre were all good choices. Now for Thompson over Durant -_-.

What? Gordon has been very good this year, 20/5/4 on ts% 57% is all star worthy in most years and had he been an established player he would have been a lock.

He is certainly more worthy then Dirk this year.

You forgot that they also reward winning. Dirk may not have been the best choice, but neither is selecting a guy whose team is 19-34 when there are worthy players who are leading their teams to much better records.

Winning has never been a factor in the all star game, otherwise Kyrie should have never made it in previous years. But he is still young so therre is always next year. In east there is several players he deserves it over.

Winning has absolutely been a factor when the bench is decided. Only with the starters does winning not matter as much because of the fan vote. This is the reason the Hawks have so many freakin' all stars.
