picking only this guy up is the downfall of the Clippers, but nothing will happen because Doc is the GM is and Balmer is a fruitcake who gave him the reign. .

Bringing his son in was a huge risk, small reward scenario from the start. It will be interesting to see what kind of contract Doc gives his son in the off-season. In my honest opinion, I don't think Austin Rivers is an NBA caliber player.

Certainly hasn't shown anything that you wouldn't get with a guy on a 10 day contract. Would be pure nepotism if he got a guaranteed deal from the Clippers this off-season.

I don't think I've seen an NBA player miss so many lay ups and get blocked going to the basket as much as Austin. He looks way out of his league in the NBA. He can stay in front of his man on defense, that's about it.

Hilarious how many pieces the Clips moved around just to land Doc's son. :lol

so when Chris Paul whined about wanting a black coach, did he subtly say he wants a black GM too?

Either way, I'm sure he didn't want daddy's little disaster messing up the team.

He is not good enough playmaker and defender to compensate for his awful shot. On a team like the Clippers, its more important for him to be able to hit the open jumper than run the offense.
He is a decent defender, and pretty quick. But that shot is the reason he has little interest.
