I read these posts about the "talent" in the old era's and it makes me think whether these people would argue that the world was more literate from 1890 to 1950 (Einstein's prime, peak 1907-1915). Or would they understand basic logic and realize that while Einstein would dominate today also, the general non genius top scientist from back then wouldn't stand a chance against other top (non genius) scientists of today.

the talent pool is so much larger nowadays. so much so that nba players don't need to have 2nd jobs.

Einstein would make Stephen Hawking look like a bumbling schoolboy.

more people. better exposure of the sport. much more money invested => a much larger talent pool.

also the world literacy quadrupled in the past 100 years alone http://ourworldindata.org/data/education-knowledge/literacy/ you poor dumb idiot :facepalm

The question remains though, is prime Einstein the GOAT scientist? I'd argue at their peaks Newton has him beat by a fair margin. I'm pretty sure if Nobel prize existed back then he would have racked up a few.

Einstein is honestly not even on Newton's level. No one is. Isaac Newton is hands down, no question about it, the G.O.A.T. scientist and it's not close.
