Kyrie, Curry, Harden aren't used to spotting up. They are better off the dribble. I still hold the spot up shooters as favorites, Klay and Korver are my favorites.

Except that Kyrie already won it in 2013. And taking the balls from off the rack is different than shooting in-game. My money is on Kyrie.

I don't understand why people are lumping Kyrie in with guys who've never won the competition under the premise that his jumper isn't built for the shoot-out... Kyrie has already won the competition in the past two years.

In fact, he mopped up the competition. No one was remotely close. He scored 23 points in the final round, which is the 5th most in the history of the competition. For comparison's sake, that is more points than Larry Bird ever scored in the finals of the shoot-out. Kyrie made 10 consecutive shots at one point, which has only been accomplished five other times ever. He was one money ball away from matching the best score ever.

I'm not saying that Kyrie is definitely going to win, but how people don't consider him a favorite -- especially over guys who've competed in the past and not done nearly as well -- is a mystery to me. There are guys who are great shooters but aren't necessarily fit to compete in this competition. Kyrie pretty clearly isn't one of them.

There is no reason for Korver not to win, I'll be shocked if he does.
