Yep. J Price son is the one that got Drake on. They're really good friends and everything. Drake legit is extended family.
The thing with J Prince is that he's really a mob boss. Rap A Lot Records is a label but the cats that don't rap are mobsters. Everybody in the South knows. Everybody in the music / entertainment biz knows.

Bet nobody speaks on it. You have to remember all the shitty contracts he's signed artist to and none have tried to leave. None have said anything even remotely close to negative about him. Only one person that I can think of was Lil Troy and he got tuned up nicely. Niggah ended up trying to sue lol.
They might not be "scared" but I'm sure they are fully aware and will be mindful. Just do a little research my man. He's not Philly Black Mafia level, but he is made.

I know who J.Prince is but I'm not going to make the guy into some mythical legend. He bleeds just like us. It didn't stop Diddy from putting hands on Drake. It didn't stop Baby from probably jerking Drake in money which is screwing over his son. For a guy who has people aware and mindful of who he is. None of those things crossed their minds to prompt J Prince to do a courtesy call. I respect the fact he is the type to check you if he feels you did him wrong. But at the same time this idea others are fear or walking on egg shells now? Nah.
Z-Ro left Rap a lot. Scarface, Buskwick Bill and Willie D left Rap A lot. Big Mike burned down one of his cribs.

He has ties with Larry Hoover in some way. Apparently he tried to sue BET for including a photo of him with Larry Hoover in an episode of American Gangster focusing on Hoover. He's also writing a book and said that he would reach out to Hoover before he finished it to see if he was cool with him including some stories that involved him.
