Meh. A lot of Turkish folks interpret their religion pretty liberally. A lot of them drink, sleep around, etc. I dated a Turkish chick when I was 18, it was nbd to her family. I have a Turkish co-worker who I always get wasted with on fridays after work. If you go to a bigger Turkish city there's bars all over the place too.
It's about a 50/50 split, some are quite liberal, some are very conservative.

They are all crazy nationalistic though. Other religions have been eradicated in Turkey a long time ago though. There are no non-Muslim Turks, just Muslims who don't take "don't drink, don't f*ck" seriously.
