View Full Version : In 15 years, MJ only averaged over 3 TOPG 3 times in his career, compare that to LBJ

LeBron has averaged 3 turnovers or more per game every year in his career.... and is averaging 4 turnovers per game this year... as a small forward. That's insane. LeBron would probably be averaging 5-6 turnovers a game if he was scoring 35 PPG and putting the effort on defense that Jordan did.

So you are saying Jordan was better than LeBron. Wow, never realized that until this info.

Turnovers is one of the reasons Jordan was the superior playoff passer:

Per-100 Possessions - PLAYOFFS:

Lebron: 36.3 PPG, 8.4 APG, 4.5 TO
Jordan: 43.3 PPG, 7.4 APG, 4.0 TO

Per-100 Possessions - THRU AGE OF 30:

Lebron: 36.3 PPG, 8.4 APG, 4.5 TO
Jordan: 43.9 PPG, 8.4 APG, 4.2 TO

Lebron's numbers will come down a lot more as he ages more and more...

MJ had 20% more scoring with equal or greater passing... GOAT... :confusedshrug:

Durant averages as many or more turnovers as LeBron (career) IIRC and he's not even the primary ballhandler on his team.

And this is another reason why Jordan is the better passer between the two.

What's the point of this? Nobody sane would put LeBron over Jordan right now anyway.

Of course. That should be clear after looking at Jordan's first finals series... averaging 11 assists per game vs Magic and the Lakers.... :oldlol:

I'd love to see Bran average 31/11/6 on 55/50/85 in a finals series, with elite defense and not have it come along with 7 turnovers per game.

Not even just that he's better, but he's better at every single facet of basketball and it isn't even remotely close. Yet the so called "journalists" at ESPN try to act like it's not a joke to even name drop the two in the same sentence.. :oldlol:
