I really like Millsap's game but he can't do what K-Love did (with the Wolves) as a #1 option.

Paul is definitely a better defender, he moves around better too... but that's where it stops. Trill can score, pass and rebound but Kevin does those things better.

They're both a bit short for the position also.

I'll say that Millsap probably fits better with most teams though, let's say, but I'd definitely take Love as a #1 option and he's above as an overall player. Let's not underrate Love and/or even overrate Millsap.

Good post, agree with this 100%. I also think Love has dropped a lot of weight and that hasn't necessarily been good for his game in terms of getting position and finishing around the room via posting up or pick & rolls.

Where as Milsap might require some creativity on a coaching perspective.

Kevin Love is a worse defender and does not have the offensive skillset Millsap has. Also Millsap has raped him down low this year.

What a farce, Millsap is just a run of the mill player. Check out in 2013 when he was a free agent, nobody wanted him so he had to settle on the Hawks. Every single team in the NBA would line up to give K Love a max contract.
