obviously, kobe's had better individual seasons where he provided more impact, but the 2000 season was arguably kobe's best season in terms of playing ELITE defense & the all-around game.

IMO only scottie's 1994 & maybe his 1995 seasons are better...i could be wrong though.

Every version of Pippen from 1992-1997 was better than 00' Kobe and 98' Pippen has a case as well. I would give 00' Kobe the edge over 91' Pippen.

97' Pippen is the most underrated Pippen. He was only slightly worse from his peak years of 1994-1996 in 97', especially in the second half of the season after a relatively slow start to he season.

Regarding 92', Pippen was putting up 21/8/7/2/1 and that year on the Dream Team he was the team's second best player according to Chuck Daly and MJ said Pippen>peak Drexler, prime Stockton and old Magic among the Dream Team's guards. That is how good he was circa 1992.

1) 1994
2) 1995
3) 1992
4) 1993
5) 1996
6) 1991
7) 1997
8) 1998

Pippen's last third of the season, and playoffs in 1996 brought it down some IMO.
