On the news on inside hoops they mention that the Bulls are really going after Ben Wallace. If the Bulls can sign Wallace then should they try to trade Chandler? It would be pointless having a center and power forward who can both rebound and play defense but can't score. If the Bulls do decide to try and trade Chandler do you think Chandler and Loul Deng (maybe Duhon) would be enough for Kevin Garnett?

Kirk Hinrich/Chris Duhon
Ben Gordon/Thabo Sefolosha
Andres Nocioni/Tyrus Thomas
Kevin Garnett/Darius Songaila
Ben Wallace/Michael Sweetney

Who else could the Bulls get for Chandler?

That lineup will never come true. The Bulls cant afford to sign Ben Wallace or get Kevin Garnett for these reasons

1. Garnett gets around 15 million dollars a year. Wallace will want around 15 million dollars per year. Thats 30 million dollars.

2. The Bulls will need to resign Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich in a year or two. Both of them will probably want around 10 million per year.

3. Ben Wallace wants to be on a championship caliber team, which the Bulls are not. Same thing with Garnett.

Therefore you guys will not get either of those players:violin:

Coming from a Knicks fan those points don't mean much to me.

I remember last year hearing how Larry Brown was going to make Curry the next Shaq. Now Larry Brown is the devil and Curry is still a fatass.

A Garnett/Wallace frontcourt combo is definitely championship calibre.

They are still the facts. What does any of this have to do with the Knicks:confused: ? And there can't be a Garnett/Wallace frontcourt combo because the Bulls can't afford to get either of them:violin:

The Bulls payroll is under 40 million currently. To add Wallace/Garnett and subtract the players involved in the Garnett trade (Chandler and Gordon) the cost would be somewhere around 20-25 million.

Apparently the Bulls can't afford to have a team salary of 65 million next season. Even though the team is one of the most profitable in the league.

This 'Reinsdorf is a cheapskate' thing is becoming more and more wrong each year.

i think that big ben should go to chicago if chicago is going to go on another championship run. but i also think ben is going to want one big expencive contract. there also going to have to chose betwen garnet and wallace,it should be easy because they could tell gordon and kirk to accept less money and get both of them if they want a championship.also since they play same position they can substitute for each other when in foul trouble

Chandler and Duhon For Gooden and Snow.

Snow is a good Back up and veteran leadership. Gooden would be a good fit at the 4 for the Bulls if they sign Wallace

Hinrich / Snow
Gordon / Carney
Nocioni / Deng
Gooden / Thomas
Wallace / Sweetney

Cavs
Duhon / Gibson
Hughes / Brown
LeBron / Ira
AV / Donyell
Big Z / Chandler

Both teams would be better then the Pistons and would be the Number 1 and 4 seeds in the East at around 58 - 60 wins.

Why was this bumped?

Seems like just yesterday...

Man, that 2006/2007 team was fun. Would have been awesome if the Bulls could have gotten KG back then. The playoffs were great though with the Bulls defeating the defending champions (Heat) in the first round.
