Book it.

His hops, and smooth finishes are only comparable to guys like Vince and Mike.

That's nothing for him. The world has yet to see his most special dunk. Between the leg 720 windmill from the 3 point line.

Or he can be Harold Minor or Desmond Mason. Time will tell.

If Zach didn't save some of his best stuff for future contests, and actually went all out, the only ones I could see matching him would be Vince and perhaps J-Rich if he executed flawlessly. MJ, Nique, Dr J would all look pedestrian. They could definitely look smoother doing certain dunks but they just could not match what Lavine did/could do in terms of pure ability and degree of difficulty.

He was very impressive tonight.
And he's only 19.

I don't know if his in-game dunks are on par with what Vince did in his career. Vince put so many people on posters, jumping literally over a 7 footer in-game will likely never be matched IMO

But he's got a lot of time left to built up his resum

getting the dunk off is one thing, but the smoothness and ease at which he did was amazing. dude didn't look like he broke a sweat or even had a weird off balance landing.

And how hard he actually dunks the ball.

He's so smooth, it's like people don't realize how HARD he dunks.

Yeah I agree, but that's because Lebron has never been in the dunk contest.

Why I truly appreciate the sentiment of this thread, giving LaVine for an amazing showcase in the dunk contest, his career will end up being much more than that.

He will become a superstar player, I'm talking Kobe level, +10 time all star and multiple champion alongside Wiggins. All time legend when it's all set and done.

Pretty special performance. I don't know about GOAT, but he can challenge for it. That may have been a top 5 contest.

If Rubio plays 70+ games next year, that team could be epically fun to watch. That length, athleticism and defense on the perimeter, oh my. Give them D'antoni and let them run fast breaks all day long. Add a stud big man in the draft to pair with guys like Payne,Bennett,Pek(traded?) and Dieng and you have an awesome core. Just need bench shooters
