Brooklyn Beckham called up to Arsenal U18

Posted this outside the "soccer" thread because this kid is already a celebrity, footballer or not. I agree with David Beckham, he knows himself that United is not the place for this kid. United disrespect their youngsters too much these days (see how they treated Danny for example), not like it used to be back when Ferguson was around.

In reality he's probably an awful footballer who's just living off his dad's name. I'm sure in a few years time he will just "retire" and get some modeling job that his dad hooked up for him. The kid stays winning because his dad is David Beckham and virtually any path he chooses in life will be easy and sustainable. That's privilege right there.

We will see man. I hope he makes it. Arsenal have a good reputation with youngsters so I think if he has talent they will be able to develop it well. Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham are also signed to Arsenal, I think the odds are at least one of his kids will make it.
