Lakers had called for a 2nd workout for this guy. Looks like they are interested in drafting him. If true, he would be the first filipino to play in the NBA (If you disregard naturalized Andray Blatche).

Looks to me like a very raw Westbrook-esque player.

He was born in Texas.

His dad is American and his mom is fillipino.

I think what OP was referring to was a player born in the Phillipines who identifies as a fillipino.
