Amare Stoudemire gone from Knicks

The veteran forward was waived Monday after requesting that the Knicks buy out the remainder of his contract that was set to expire after this season. He will be free to sign with another team once he clears waivers on Wednesday.

Adios. Might as well have taken baths in Steel Reserve and Mad Dog 20/20. Amare didn't do shit this year but complain about any and everything while doing little to nothing. Good bye. If it were me, I would have made him stay on the roster for the year and show up to games in street clothes. better yet, send him to the D-League lol. Sucks he gets to go be a mooch with a contender while we suffer partially because of the fat contract we paid him with NO production on our investment. (I know we had cap space to sign people). Regardless, he was the highest paid player on the team and was basically Andray Blatche. Actually, I would have taken Andray Blatche over him the last 3 years.
