Forget regular season stats and accolades.

GOAT is GOAT because he got busy when it mattered the most. And not only did he get busy, he WON! he went 6/6 and at times did it in dominating fashion, giving us reasons why he was the GOAT. He wasn't simply riding shotgun, he was on the driver's seat the whole time.

Here are just some (50 to be exact) plays to remind people why he's GOAT. Getting it done when it matters the most, in the Finals.

he won 6.....6/6 doesn't matter. it is almost like you would have respected him less if he reached finals in 95 and lost.

people making the argument of 6/6 are silly. So you are saying that if he had gone 6/7 in the finals then his legacy would take a hit?

Imo 3ball is some rational dude's troll because he is way over the top, imo you are too much of an irrational/serious stan type of poster to come up with such an obnoxious troll.

also MJ is overrated and sucked dick in the 80s because he was all about his stats. I don't give a fck about your conference strength, if you're the undisputed goat you got at least a lebron vs detroit series in you to get to a finals or something. But nobody is the undisputed goat, all GOATs have good and bad seasons, nobody is perfect, take the media crap outta here son. Magic/Kareem/Duncan are arguably as good as jordan career wise.

Jordan is just another GOAT that was luckily put on a pedestal by the media to milk the the crowds for cash.

I think we should be past the point where we even question if he is the GOAT. Everyone knows he is, all these threads do is bring up trolls and people trying to goad stans into a frenzy. Move along until a new force emerges...

:biggums:

I thought you were on the "2/5" train? (Guess the Brady/Montana stuff made you change your opinion on that)

Anyway, I feel the 6/6 is justified with MJ, since he put them over the top with either ATG performances and/or overcoming stuff like the flu, last game....

His 6/6 is remarkable.

Jordan is actually 6 for 15.

Bill Russell was 11 for 13.

Sure... but not more impressive than 6 of 7 or 6 of 10 or 6 of 20..... it means he took his team to more finals than 6... certainly its more impressive....

Out of the 50 plays in the countdown, MJ was off-ball in 27 of them (55%).. 14 times (26%) he was the primary ballhandler, and 8 times (16%) he made a quick move out of the triple-threat (which i consider off-ball).

This is the optimal mix of shot allocation for a #1-option wing player - the style doesn't hinder teammates' production, which is the only way a team has any chance to realize their highest possible ceiling.

Nope. Talk to your dad and grandpa. Maybe you can re-live greatness through their teachings instead of being so insecure about never having witnessed Jordan's greatness.

Sorry yung blood, you missed the ship.

lol the 90s generation stanning as always.
the 80s was the peak son. jordan had to wait for his turn like everybody else, no shame in that. Lol 6/6, dude was bounced out the playoffs in the 80s really HARD. People really forget that isiah was THE guard in the east for the last half of the 80s and that jordan hated the shit out of him because thomas was the superior 4th quarter man, pure winner.

Even with his statpadding jordan got only 1 all-star mvp in the 80s. Losing to other all-time greats is not shame (larry, magic, thomas).

Delusional jordan stans, educated by the nike/mcdonalds/pepsi/coke media. 6/6 50inch vertical goat.

Jordan came into Isiah's league and went 28/6/6 as a rookie. Anyone with half a brain knew that it was only a matter of time that once he had a team good enough to go to the finals, he would ensure that he won the finals each and every single time that he was in it.
