Seems like the Kings are making an playoff push with the Karl hire, and the rumor is that he wants to reunite with Afflalo

Arron Afflalo
Kenneth Faried

-4-

Jason Thompson
Nik Stauskas/Ben Maclemore
2015 top 12 protected 1st. top10 protected in 2016

What happens after 2016? That could be pretty important.

it wont look as bad with the new cap, but i get where you are coming from

i still love faried, and think he would be great on the right team. Most likely of the bench

George Karl used him perfectly

top 5 maybe.

Both SG's are looking like busts, while still having some potential. And JT aint nothing to write home about + he wants to leave

not sure if this is the kinda deal that will happen, but would not be surprised if these teames do work something out

with the Coach and FO connection

I propose a variation to your idea as follows:

Denver trades to Sacramento: Afflalo, Arthur

Denver gets: T. Young from Minnesota and Stauskas from Sacramento

Minnesota gets: J. Thompson from Minn and Gee from Denver.

Sacramento gets Afflalo and Arthur

One caveat with the Kings' pick is that they already owe a protected pick to Chicago. Think it's top 10 protected each of next 2 years, then drops afterwards. Could be sometime before a pick from SAC is conveyed. Not a bad idea overall, though I think they could potentially fetch better value for Faried if they pushed hard enough.

I hear the Nuggets are looking to trade Lawson, I'd trade for Ty not really a fan of Faried at all and AA has regressed on D in particular.
