View Full Version : If Wade beats Bran in the playoffs
should they swap places on the GOAT list? Wade does have more championships and beating Bran in the playoffs should solidify Wade's legacy.

Interesting. How about if Wade loses with Bosh and a team that won 54 games and made the Finals last year which replaced LeBron with Deng and also added Dragic and Wiltside? How can Dragic, Deng, Wiltside combined not=LeBron's impact? :confusedshrug:

Sure, why not.

if Wade was in his prime I believe this Heat team would easily beat the Cavs. Wade is old and not even close to the superstar he once was so I don't see how this potential series would effect their legacies unless Bran goes 2011 Mavs all over again.

If Wade is healthy then his legacy will take a hit. I think a healthy Heat team will beat the Cavs in 6 games. Bran losing with Love, Kyrie, JR, Mozgod, Tristan, and Iman would be a huge legacy hit.

He will. Expect to see a lot of cramping.

so you think that a healthy wade with whiteside, bosh, dragic and deng defeating the cavs will be an upset.
so in other words you agree that other than lebron heat sucked last season. this is the only conclusion i can come up with when you say all that you have said in 2 threads you have made about the same topic.

Yes. Good backup center in 2k11.

Well I'm obsessed with bball so yes.
And when you were drafted in 2010 and played seasons in the NBDL and internationally, you aren't a rookie. He is also 25 and has had 4-5 years to mature to this point.

It's hilarious that the Heat add another star, and now all of the Lebron haters are making threads talking about how much of a huge hit it would be if the Cavs lose to the Heat.

I've never seen J.R touted this highly untill he played with LeBron
The LeBron Effect, turns all his teammates to superstars :facepalm
If Wade was in his prime Bran would get swept. :oldlol:

Which says it all, doesn't it? The "most stacked team of all-time":
*Loses LeBron.
*Adds Dragic.
*Adds Deng.
*Adds Whiteside.
Yet the "most stacked team of all-time" is now, despite these three key additions versus one loss and retaining two superstars (they were superstars just a few months ago, right?), a mere first round underdog. People know the Heat were never as "stacked" as they liked to claim and their dim view of the Heat even with Bosh/Wade/Dragic/Deng/Whiteside exposes that.

Chicago may be the #2 imo. People are assuming it will be Cleveland but I think the Bulls are poised now. Everyone is healthy and Rose is getting better every month. Moreover, there is no guarantee the Heat even get to 7th. They should but they have been underachieving all year. Most likely it will be #2 CHI versus #7 MIA imo--and the Bulls will win while the #3 Cavs defeat the #6 Bucks.

And this is after calling the Heat the most stacked team of all time with Norris Cole and no legitimate center.

:facepalm Wade was hurt in 2007. In 2009 & 2010 His Squads weren't Great. Obviously a Prime Wade with this Squad is more then likely the Favorites to win the East or at least Contenders.

And who on Lebron's 2009 and 2010 teams was considered "great" besides him? Name just 2 players? True all time greats are able to make their supporting casts look better than they are, and at least get past the first round. :confusedshrug:
Not saying Wade isn't a great individual talent, but Lebron is just in a different class.

Repped. We don't normally agree, but I salute this. LeBron fans have made the world a dumber place, no question.

His Squad was Overall far Superior to Wade's. Wade had a Rookie/Sophmore Coach, Rookie/Sophomore Beasley & Chalmers, Washed up JO, No Inside Paint Presence, Worse Shooters, No other Ball Handlers, and no Defensive Post Presence.
Mo Williams & Delonte West were greater than anybody Wade had.

Not all bad teams are created equal. The Cavs' guards were Mo Williams, Boobie, Anthony Parker and Delonte West. Besides Wade, the Heat went with Carlos Arroyo and a rookie Chalmers, neither of whom would have seen the court in Cleveland.
At SF, the Heat had Yakouba Diawara, then Jamario Moon and then Marion (post-Matrix). At PF, they had Beasley who was a bust and Haslem, who would have played behind both Varejao and J.J. Hickson. At center, they went from Haslem (6'8") to Joel Anthony (6'9") to Jermaine O'Neal (post-knees). O'Neal probably would have backed up Big Z if it was 2009 but doesn't get any run once Shaq is in the house in 2010.
The only Heat starter in 2009 and 2010 who would have started for the Cavs was Wade. Few of their other players would have even made Cleveland's rotation.
Wade would have committed mass-homicide for LeBron's cast in 2009 and 2010. Your argument fails.
