And he just had 30 points on 12-14 shooting, 11 rebounds, 0 turnovers in 33 minutes.

He is also spurs' best defender.

He played a great game. I think he had more dunks tonight than the rest of the season combined.

That was a very entertaining one too, even with the Hack-a-Jordan (am I the only one who enjoys watching the strategy of it unfold?)

Who do you have #1, LeBron? Shaq?

He ages like a fine wine, if Kobe hadn't gone ahead and started referring to himself as 'vino' that nickname would be perfect for duncan.

If you include the postseason Duncan has already played over 1500 NBA games and that's not including the 4 years he played in college.

Amazing longevity.

And his knees have been bone-on-bone for a good 5 years now. If you watch, he doesn't even extend one of his knees completely when running up and down the court.

Amazing longevity; arguably top three ever (for a superstar) behind Kareem and Karl Malone.

He's unbelievable. I've got him at #5, but I legitimately think you can put him over Wilt and as high as #4. If he wins another title as a 1a/1b/1c option, we're talking about legitimate #3.

I really hate when Duncan scores big - inevitably it means that others aren't scoring, he has to exert himself offensively and the Spurs lose. With everybody back healthy, he shouldn't have to be doing this at this age - just play solid defense. Leonard is the player who really takes them to another level. Why didn't he play in the second half - is he injured? And I hope Diaw is just in "Horry" regular season mode and will get himself into playoff mode. Not looking well with GSW tomorrow. Still awesome game by TD - hope he plays at least another year.

I honestly don't see the case for Wilt being over TD.

Unless we're saying that hardware doesn't matter, only peak play and stats do....in which case Shaq better be in everyone's top 3.

Duncan once again proving almost at will how overrated athleticism is, especially in bigs.

Exactly. In fact the entire list is outdated.

Do people really think Bird and Magic are better than Duncan and Kobe? With the career and longevity they've had? Lebron will be in that conversation soon as well at the rate he's going.

thing about bigs is that height and length and movement are more important than jumping. its not that athletism is overrated, its just that what kids think of as athletism is overrated. Tim is still a good athlete meaning I wouldn't trade his package of measurables for most nba power forwards or centers.

Duncan is at worst, top-5 IMO, and I believe he is a grteater player than Wilt was.
