Kyle Singler has been outstanding when spotting up from the arc this year in Detroit (over 40% from deep). OKC could be a great fit for him.
His biggest problem with the Pistons was that he may have been filling a role that was a little over-sized for his strengths. I'm not sure he provides everything a team would want out of a starting small forward but as a guy who you want to come in and perform specific tasks (like spot-up corner specializing), he could be an underrated pickup here.

Very sneaky, underrated pickup by OKC. Should be a productive bench player and also gives them some size and a guy who's decent defensively and can spot up.

I think if Singler was really a knock down shooter, he would have been making more 3's on the Pistons, under SVG, on a team that desperately needed shooters.

this is definitely true. Tell me more about a starting sf playing 24 minutes while only scoring 7 pts while shooting 40% on a team desperate for outside shooting. I hear he is a taller, whiter Klay.

He is definitely a pretty good shooter but his release is too slow, he'd be a very effective catch-and-shoot player otherwise. Can't really finish at the rim, which makes the need to speed up his release even more critical.
Playing alongside Westbrook and KD he should have more spaces to do his thing though. He is going to a very good situation to succeed, very happy for him :applause:

Where does Kyle Singler find minutes?
Roberson-Morrow-Waiters-Lamb
Perry Jones - Novak
Why was he even traded to OKC in the first place

Lamb and P Jones will ride the pine. Hard. Novak will only play if there are injuries.

OKC should be amazing to watch when they occasionally go 3 point assault with Durant running the point on offense, playing PF on defense. Or against a team small balling them like Miami, they could even put in Augustin who is a very good 3 point shooter at point and shift Durant to center while putting Ibaka on the bench
PG: Morrow 42.1 career 3P%
SG: Novak 43.4 career 3P%
SF: Singler 40.6 career 3P%
PF: Durant 40.1 3p% past 3 years
C: Ibaka 38.9 3P% this year

Singler sucks, but is universally loved by every coach ever for some reason that completely defies logic.
