I don't think pass first = 27.4 career ppg. It's definitely true that he's a far more willing passer than Kobe but saying he's pass first isn't accurate.

Well yea, he will pass any non-PG ever (which is only Pippen left) and even be the first non-PG to enter Top 10 in assists.... on top of it be the first player in NBA history to be in both Top 10 in Scoring & Assists....

People have not yet learned to understand once Lebron retires his assist record will be as unbreakable as anything, i mean i doubt you will ever see another non-PG average 7 apg for the entire career, probably will need more than that average to surpass him.

Lebrons the kind of player whose assist will probably always stay around 7 or so per game too. As he gets older and becomes less of a scorer it's only natural that he'll play more of a pure point guard role in an offense. His apg will stay consistent despite falling minutes. No non guard will ever catch up to him once his career is over.

He already has 24,000 points and counting. He's not finishing his career with 25 k and top 20. He's hitting 30,000 points EASILY. In fact, I see him passing Kobe. He's 6 years younger than Kobe and the gap is only 8k points (4.5 seasons worth)

5/7 has no weight in individual comparison. 2/7 is what counts for Kobe, that is, 2 FMVPS out of 7 finals. Lebron is better even now. If he wins just 1 FMVP till the end of his career he will be clearly dominant in every aspect of this game.

Think about how idiotic you sound, and try and come back with something better

this is cause lebron plays within the offense.

if he took kobe's shots for his career he would avg less than 30% for his fg%.

****** act like lebron is unstoppable efficient.

why doesn't he scale his shot volume by another 25% to make sure his team wins more games and championships if he is so "efficient"?

cause he is a cherry picker, he won't take shots that disrupts the defensive assignments, tendencies, and attention.

kobe takes shots that frees up his teammates, and rather than assists, kobe has made high IQ hockey assists and installed plays by making the play call.

so many retards think a higher stat average = better player

let's not act like kobe couldnt have averaged over 30 ppg if he didnt want to.

guy has the greatest scoring streaks in NBA history especially for a wing player.

Look, kobetards (not you) already have a bunch of excuses and things to explain why this happened, and why through all this, Kobe is still somehow better.. lol.

edit:

Magic32, did you want LeBron to sit out last night's game due to Bosh's blood clot?

You're basically arguing that taking stupid shots (and converting on them at a lower percentage) is better than passing/taking better looks (and converting at a higher percentage).

I've seen this shitty argument before from people trying to detract from Nash's fantastic shooting numbers, you're promoting the idea of playing stupid basketball.

try watching games instead of looking at the box score for once in your life, i promise its much more entertaining.

in case you forget the mavs won a championship by leaving lebron wide open at the perimeter

cry yourself to sleeep now

Lebron isn't chuckerbe...why would he take a high volume of deep range, contested shots? This whole argument of yours is idiotic. You are trying to bash a guy FOR NOT TAKING STUPID SHOTS.

LeBron is a superior passer but Kobe's assist totals are deflated by the triangle. The record for assists per game in the triangle is only 7.0 (92' Pippen).
