Weak Era

Kareem and stacked

Russell's teams went 10-0 in game seven's in his career (and in seven of those, his team won the game by four points, or fewer.)

Magic won a ring in a Finals in which Kareem averaged 13 ppg, 4 rpg, and shot .414 from the field. He also won a ring with a clinching title game in which Kareem was watching from his couch.

You can't judge GOATness just off finals appearences, especially when it's in a weak east, as well as going 2-3 while severely underperforming in 2 of them.

If Lebron wants to be goat he'll need to win at minimum 2 more rings along with acceptional longevity. I say its unlikely.

Magic won a title in a year in which the Sixers had Moses, Dr. J, Cheeks, Toney, Bobby Jones, and Barkley.

He won a title in a season in which the Celtics had Bird, McHale, DJ, Parish, and Walton.

And he won a title in a season in which the Pistons had Isiah, Dumars, Laimbeer, Dantley, and Rodman.

Agreed, Magics finals chops were extraordinary. Save for a few bonehead plays in '84, he never had a bad finals.

Even in the '84 Finals (and yes, he missed a key FT and a key FGA)...he put up an 18-8-14 .560 Finals.

You referring to Magic's rookie year?

Jamaal Wilkes scored 37pts that game.

The 5 out of 6 games Kareem did play in the Finals he avg. 33pts, 13.6 boards and 4.6 blocks.

If 31 points on 55% is weak minded, what is 22 ppg on 35%? Or 10ppg drop off in the finals?

Pop and Carlisle OWN LeBron. Durant shits on both Mavs and Spurs, which proves Durant is the better player. Pop and Carlisle can easily stop LeBron but they can't stop Durant. They are considered the best coaches in the league and they don't have an answer for Durant.

So then it's a cycle considering LeBron OWNS Durant. Destroys him in the regular season and the playoffs. It's so bad that it's becoming modern day slavery the way LeBron takes Durants lunch money, while Durant accepts it like a timid passive aggressive female

And Durant has lost to both Dallas and Sanantonio the years they beat LeBron so you fail again, your argument makes zero sense, expected more from a 19 year old kid who has all the time in the world to try and make a convincing lie

Durant averaged 30 points against Dallas in 2011. His team lost in 5.

LeBron scored 17 and his team lost in 6. Just proves how superior LeBron's teammates have been.

Unfortunately I don't ever expect much from you. You constantly try to post like me but your autism hampers your ability to come off intelligent or entertaining. You really need to go make friends and get an education. Seeking attention on here 24/7 while constantly getting bullied is a sad way to live. Your mom should force you to go to a special school of some sort. Maybe join a club or sports league with other autistic kids as well. Just my advice. It's sad that I have more concern for you than your own mother.

Kind of a really arbitrary age, right? Especially considering every player basically comes into the league at different ages. It's more about the seasons played. Can't go to the Finals if you're in Euroleague, the NBDL, or NCAA.

More like LeBron has 5 finals trips in 13 seasons. Winning only 2 of them.

More like Kobe had 6 finals trips in 13 seasons. Winning 4 of them. Shaq !!!

More like MJ had 6 finals trips in 13 seasons. Winning all 6 of them. 6x FMVPs

Not really. I wouldn't pick Ben Wallace first either.

Have you ever even played street ball? I didn't think people could afford basketball shoes in Cleveland. And no game has higher stakes than Chicago. You could get killed on the court all things considering if you underperform for gangster teammates.

Russell would be the anti-thesis of play ground ball.

And whose going to get him the ball without guys like Cousy, Sam Jones, Jo Jo White or Havlicek to score for him or carry the offensive load?

That parts a little unfair. The Celts were never a great offensive team and Russ made all those guys looks even better than they were. Their defense was ALWAYS centerfold: from '58-'69 they were near the bottom of the league just about every year in offensive rating. But Russell's historically amazing D kept their championship aspirations afloat.

That series should disqualify him from top 10 ever. Not only is his series point average less than Jason Terry but Terry got his 18 pts in only 32.5 mins to Lebron's 17.8 pts in 43.7 mins (in addition to 2 team mates out-scoring him in less minutes). That's pretty bad for any player (in his prime) aspiring to top 10 position.
