Heat and Nets are currently in but the Hornets, Pistons, and Pacers aren't far behind.
If I had to guess I would pick.
7. Pistons
8.Hornets
9.Pacers
10.Heat
11.Nets

If Paul George returns mid-March like he expects to, I could see them nabbing the #8 seed.

I think the Pistons are content with missing the Playoffs and putting it altogether next year (fcking Josh Smith, man).

It's basically a stab in the dark at this point, but I think it'll be the Hornets and Pacers.

Btw, the Nets don't have a single 1st round pick, do they?

I'd like to say Heat and Pacers.

We do in 2015 but the Hawks have the option to swap picks which they will so we're looking at a late 20's selection :banghead: No pick in 2016

hard to say. Heat probably fall off without bosh, unless they can get someone who makes a difference on their frontline and Wade can play out the rest of the season.

Pacers could be scary when PG comes back. I would say the pistons for sure, before the jennings injury. Not sure what the trade will bring (lost 2 "starters"), but I think they are probably going to rise.

I would say Hornets and Pistons.

Big Wins for Indiana and Detroit last night. Pacers-Hawks would be a fun matchup if PG comes back and is healthy .

Detroit would probably have to play Cleveland or Atlanta. Tough round either way.

My predictions from a earlier thread was:

7. Charlotte
8. Pacers

Let me see if I can find it.

yeah but Detroit started 5-23. So they are 18-10 without Smith.

Now they are missing Jennings though (which is why I said they are probably content with finishing just outside of the Playoffs).

I haven't seen their past 2 games but I'm definitely gonna watch their next one to see how they are doing.

They very easily could make the Playoffs, even without BJ.

pg wont be a difference maker missing most of the season and could be a minor disruption

We need Bosh healthy to contend.

Next year will be our year.

I see Hornets and Heat going down with Kemba and Bosh out.

On the other hand, Pistons and Pacers have been a lil stronger lately than Brooklyn, so I would say:

7- Pistons.
8- Pacers.
9- Brooklyn.

10- Miami.
11- Charlotte.

Even without Bosh the Heat are a better team than their competition for the 7/8 seeds. If they don't make it it's a huge indictment of Spo's (lack of) coaching ability.

I'm going to guess

7. Heat
8. Pistons

This. I'm happy to see him back but I don't realistically know how much difference he'll make. He has to get back into the swing of things, get his stamina back and fit back into the offense basically. But I feel we'll probably make the 8th seed with or without him because we've been playing better and well, its the East...:confusedshrug:

7. miami
8. detroit

Miami just got a little better with that dragic acquisition. I don't see them losing the playoff race..

Detroit been playing a much better ball game since they traded josh smith away, and still going strong.

I would like my cake and to eat it too. So, Pistons and Heat.
