Blazers will never be elite until their defense can stop teams like Memphis and SA. You can't just try and outshoot teams. You're winning and losing depends on if you are making shots. Memphis wins games even if they've been slacking off offensively for most of the game.

After 3 quarters, they said something like Portland are 23-4 when leading after 3, and Memphis are 4-10 when down after 3. Something like that..

That's why stats and analyitics are flawed. They can tell the past but can't predict the future. Future is unpredictable and yet to be determined. Grizzlies outscored them 34-15 in the 4th, no stats could have predicted that.

Well throw that stat out the window when LaMarcus Aldridge isn't playing. Still Memphis is just better. Blazers want no part of Memphis in the playoffs.
