2011 - Lost in 1st RD
2012 - Lost in WCF
2013 - Lost in Finals
2014 - Won NBA Finals

What's also interesting is that last year when the Spurs couldn't beat any "contenders" during the first half of the regular season, people were saying they were done. This year it's the same with the injuries. Until the Spurs get beat in the playoffs, I'm not counting them out.

Me neither. People are overstating the dropoff.

At this point last season we were 40-16.

If we win tonight we will be 35-21.

That's a 5 game difference. We've had major injures, our role players haven't stepped up, we don't really have anything to prove (like we did coming off the '13 Finals), and the West is even tougher than last year.

I like our chances in any Playoff series if healthy, which is all that matters.

And who cares if we don't win. It's just basketball, tbh.

They are going to be done very soon. This might be the last year they make noise in the Playoffs.

Unfortunately, their play in the regular season is veering off the path, so their playoff performances are also likely to veer off.

Funny how people were discussing Duncan retiring back in 2012, and he just won another ring in 2014. But I feel like his time is coming, I'd like to see this team win one more ring before he hangs it up though.

If he finished with 6 rings, he'd be second to only Jordan. An elite two way player to win 6 rings with one franchise is something only those two can say they did.
