Dang, they all played more minutes than Westbrook too.

Not sure why Westbrook's name isn't in the MVP discussion more.

Westbrook is also averaging 31 ppg, 8 rpg and over ten assists per game in February. No one is playing better than he is.

Yeah i doubt that.

If westbrook played that many minutes he'd get fatigued easier and would increase chance of injury.

Westbrook is the energizer bunny, he never fatigues. I remember having some ridiculous dunk against the Lakers last year in the final minute.

I love Westbrook but this is a very arbitrary stat. I think if given the full reigns like MJ was allotted in his early years, Westbrook could average something like 30-9-9 or at least 28-8-8 for a season. Although I don't think putting up crazy stats translates to team success, as Phil Jackson made MJ realize. It's about building your teammates, something Lebron still hasn't realized but was blessed with on the Heat and current Cavs.

Wow... I was hoping to finally see a post of yours which didn't include LeBron and his dick in your mouth, it looked really good for quite some time there, and then... ehhh. Maybe next time bud

There's a big diff between playing 40 mpg night in and night out and just playing 32-33. You can't just base what his numbers would be off a per-minute basis because it doesn't account for wear and tear. That's just a fact.

If westbrook were playing 40 minutes every night there's no guarantee he'd stay healthy or have the energy to close out games.

I think maybe 29 7 9 would be more appropriate with a small dip in efficiency probably around 41-42 fg%.

At this point you must be googling "Lebron insidehoops" every 10 minutes. It was a knock on him, but I didn't take a shot at his individual greatness. He is a great player who has put up crazy stats and I just compared Westbrook to him, and I love Westbrook. To compare my favorite player to my least favorite player, is giving Lebron a lot of credit :facepalm

Yeah, his efficiency would most likely dip especially if he started chucking away. Most of the times it feels like Westbrook was born to chuck away but we get plenty of games like last night where he is happy getting everyone else involved and letting his scoring come to him. Maybe he is maturing before our very eyes :confusedshrug: No Durant, no one except his critics would blame him if he put up 25+ shots.
