I didn't get to watch the game, but in some cases teams will smartly push through the screening big, sending them to the line. It can be a tricky move to pull off since refs may call the foul as "away from ball," giving the offensive team FTs + possession. If you execute it, it can be a good move to send a big who's a poor FT shooter to the line with game in the balance. Maybe that's why they went straight iso.
