We simply cannot compare PER ratings of this season to the season's previous. The top PERs this season are all skewed because of lesser minutes played. MPG and PER are inversely proportional. If Anthony Davis played 39 minutes like such players as Lebron and Kobe, his PER would be roughly around 3-4 points less.

This is why Lebron and MJ have the best PER ratings of all time.

There should be a PER adjusted via MPG. It would be far more accurate and effective.
