If you could time travel any 10 players who played most of their careers in the 50s, and team them up with Melo for the next 5 seasons with Phil as head coach, would it be conceivable for them to win a championship?

They would have 5 seasons to adjust to the shot clock, learn how to take jump shots, and hit the gymn. Also, PEDS.

Serious question though, would you take that scenario over the real scenario the Knicks are in?

I honestly don't think a large portion of people here could name 10 players who played most of their careers in the 50s off the top of their head.
Let me try
Mikan
Cousy
I'm done my dude
I dont think ISH posters have an extensive knowledge of the 50s players.
