Don't be surprised if he shoots around 50% for the rest of the year.

People need to understand how much pressure was on him to force offense without any real inside thread.

Not to mention the addition to Singler and Augustin will prove to be huge. Those are system guys. They both help chemistry and ball movement which means more open looks for everyone on the court.

Having Kanter down low as a threat frees up Ibaka and in turns opens up the whole court for the Thunder to play an inside/outside game. Westbrook doesn't have to force as many outside shots and will be more free to attack the paint, because teams can no longer play off our big men.

Don't be surprised if he averages around 10 assists for the rest of the year.

Now that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Westbrook has not been known so far to adjust how he plays too much according to who is around him. He has improved at his style of play, but I wouldn't expect him to suddenly play as a great mind rather than a great athlete. He is the type that goes by instinct, not a well thought out plan.

tbh his FG% has been so low because he's missed A LOT of wide open pull-up J's that he's been able to get off screens and in transition

he shot 35,7% on jump shots last year, it's 35,5% this year and under 32% in the 3-10 ft range :kobe:

dude needs to seriously work on his jump shot.
