so there's 9 teams that are better than the Cavs record wise.
How funny is that? So stacked, yet so weak

Terrible start, they are fine since the trades. No excuses.

Goes to show how important those trades were.

Before those trades went down they were a mediocre team. Now they're the best.

but all those teams are in the west, so really there is only 1 team better than the cavs and we'll find out which that team is after the nba finals.

Cav's don't have the best record in the east....

LeBron always makes historically stacked teams underachieve. Always. I don't know what it is. Poor leadership qualities, it might be.

Well Lebron was out for 10 games. If he plays in all of those they're right near the top. There aren't 9 better teams.

Bron resting those however many games is the difference in them having a way better record.

They have a lot of roads games the rest of the way. It will be interesting to see how they fare but this team is loaded and possesses the most talent in the east.

Definitely my pick to come out of the East. Health is key and they are perfectly healthy now. Andy V may have gone down but he was replaced so it's a wash.

Best record in the league as of Jan. 15. We're coming.

Teams played since LeBron returned+team record

@ Phoenix 29-27 L
@ LAL 14-41 W
@ LAC 37-19 W
Chicago 35-21 W J. Noah DNP
Utah 20-34 W
Charlotte 22-32 W A. Jefferson DNP
OKC 30-25 W S. Adams DNP
@ Detroit 23-33 W B. Jennings DNP
Sacramento 19-35 W
@ Minnesota 12-42 W
Philadelphia 12-43 W
LAC 37-19 W
@ Ind 23-33 L
LAL 12-41 W
Mia 22-31 W D. Wade DNP
@ Chi 35-21 L
@ Was 33-22 W B. Beal DNP
@ NYK 10-45 W

So they're 15-3 in the stretch. The teams that they have beaten are a combined 338-483(equivalent to a 33 win team over the entire season). And every playoff team they beat(Miami, Washington, OKC, Charlotte, Chicago, and Detroit) other than the Clippers were missing a starter. Boy, what an impressive stretch of basketball.

A team with that much talent will figure it out sooner of later.

Terrible start was expected, they have played like one of the best teams / if not the best since Lebron returned..... and we shall see who is the best in the playoffs, thats really where regular season record doesnt matter and the actual best team reveals itself....
