If you're big (6'10" and above)...

1) the talent threshold will be lower. You can be decently skilled and still command a high salary.
2) you'll be in greater demand, because of the shortage of bigs.
3) you can play longer when your athleticism fails and you are relying on your size.
4) you can only fit in large cars.
5) first-class on an airplane is still a tight fit for you.
6) you need to shop at Big and Tall stores, and get other things (i.e. bed, shoes) customized. Things are just less convenient for you.
7) you stick out like a sore thumb out in public.
8) you can probably only date/marry a woman who is of supermodel height

If you're small (6'4" and under)...

1) there is a lot of competition so you have to be really skilled to command a high salary.
2) your career will probably be shorter because once you lose your athleticism, you'll drop off quickly.
3) you can fit in normal vehicles.
4) you don't need anything custom made for you.
5) you can blend into the crowd.
6) you can date/marry short women and tall women

Smaller. Less health issues when I'm older and I'll live longer to enjoy my millions. I also enjoy roller coasters and most girls wouldn't want to be with a giant.

Smaller. PG sounds like a nice fit. I love playing the point, if I was good enough to play it in the NBA I'd take it over the benefits of any other position/size.

6'3 PG. Alpha. Basically Russell Westbrook

Considering how frequently NBA players fly on planes, that alone tips the scales towards being a shorter NBA player.

Taller than CP3

I'd rather be small so I can dribble in between Dwight Howard's legs then I'd look up and sniff his balls.

If I'm very good (all star level) I would rather be smaller since it's easier to live that way but if I'm a scrub, I would rather be a big one. I would win more money and stay longer in the league.

So how good are we at either height?

If I was a 7'1" 325 lb Shaq-sized center with Deandre Jordan-type athleticism, Hakeem's skills/instincts, KG's intensity...I'd take that without question and wreck the league, no matter how perfect I could be as a small player, even if you gave me Westbrook's body w/ CP3's vision, Curry's shooting, etc.

If we're just all-star level but not HOF or ATG level..I'd take being the small player. No risk of being out of the league, and without the ability to shit on the competition as an ATG C, being an all-star PG and running the show would be fun.

If I'm just some lumbering big like Zaza Pachulia or an unathletic skill-based PG like Kendall Marshall..so the lower end of either height range..I'll take being the big. Easier to stay in the league, easier to develop a couple of go-to moves and stay in the league purely on effort and size.

Said this before, but my ideal NBA role would be Andrea Bargnani.

Gets paid, somehow lands on teams with a role, and all he does is shoot jumpers. Doesn't play defense, doesn't rebound... Just shoots at 7 foot tall. And he still is given 25+ mpg.

Talk about the life.

I'd rather be in the 6'5-6'7 range.

Less wear on the knees, less banging down low, and being 6'8+ kinda sucks in real life, too many headaches with that.

At least 6'5 is kinda normal-ish.

I'd like to be athletic and and a tall dominant power forward so Amare Stoudemire's athleticism but not his low iq ball.

I'm only 6'1 and I'm already scared of hitting my head on shit. I bet Chris Bosh and Tim Duncan walk into so much shit :oldlol:
