Hamilton, 24, had been averaging 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA

Hamilton was originally drafted by the Dallas Mavericks with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 draft and traded to the Denver Nuggets on draft day. He has career NBA averages of 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13.3 minutes over 126 games with Denver and the Houston Rockets.
