Lebron just overtook Harden and Curry tonight. Had a bad statistical game, but dominated when his team needed him most. Despite 9 turnovers, Cavs were +25 with him on the court.

I would have thought that you would have went with Bargnani.

My pick is Curry.

I tend to believe that Lebron is on his way to #5.

needless to say it would be Lebron James again/ BUT

he need's to do something galaxtic' to end the season, with a few lose ratio to componisate for the start of a horrible season.

Westbrook could take it - for the ultimate dark horse awesome numbers for a 6-8 seed team into the playoffs'......

But there is one player , one player only that deserves his due, with no injuries this year , that abolishes past seasons thoughts about a player that had injuries , and has resolved those issues and shows his true skill, talents, leadership and that is a Warrior in Curry.

It's about time he gets his due , as a valualble' team, and best player to lead his team to the best record so far this season and quite frankly home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

Harden because of the difference in supporting casts.

Curry or James Harden only those two for now with Lebron being 3rd.

Russell Westbrook is coming on like a freight train by leading Oklahoma City to a 9-1 record in February; while posting insane numbers like: 30 ppg, 8 rpg and over ten assists for the month and he's only playing 34 minutes per game this month.

Oklahoma City's poor record without KD and RW to start the season when they started 3-12 shouldn't be held against him. He is currently fourth in my MVP voting after Curry, Harden and James because of his time missed. But if OKC keeps winning and he sustains this level of play for the rest of the season it will be impossible to ignore him and it is possible that he could pass those other three.

AD won't be in the running for MVP because his team won't even make the playoffs.

Curry, he's playing incredible ball and has the best record.
It would been Westbrook's if he didn't have that stupid hand injury that got him sidelined for a month.

I'd love to vote for Westbrook. But it's going to be between Curry and Harden. Right now I would predict it leaned toward Curry.

Harden has had the biggest burden with Howard out half of the season. He's killing it with, Josh Howard, the anti-winner as the second best player? Nobody else consistently getting 13ppg or 7 rebs per game and they are in third place! He's my MVP at the moment.

Curry is the only one really contending with him and will likely win it despite the fact I think Westbrook will outplay in the first round if they meet. Its just that if Curry doesn't get it, Harden is on a third place team and killing it without help.

James Harden, much more valuable to his team than Curry.

If Westbrook played the entire season, with this current team, with Durant on another team... And played like he's playing right now, getting around these same points all season. It'd vote Westbrook.

However, it is flat out between Curry and Harden. Harden doesn't have the team that Curry has, so if he keeps the Rockets in the top2/3, I would lean more towards Harden than Curry. Curry has been great, even if his team runs a lot better with him playing, it's still a lot better than the Rockets.

The MVP should go to the West, not LeBron.

Davis has no chance, the media's criteria is that the team is typically Top3 in either conference.

livingby3's

Harden leading the Rockets without Howard.

Curry as the clear cut best player on the best team in the NBA.

Westbrook putting up insane stats while leading the Thunder back into the playoff race.

Then perhaps you can throw in LeBron who leads the Cavs to a great run since coming back from that 2 weeks break.

And there's still Durant who will be putting up great numbers when he's back and will put the Thunder higher.

I understand this thread is about right now, but this MVP race is perhaps the closest in years, with multiple players. Personally my pick is Harden, as he's doing most with the least. Still gonna be a sick finish towards the end of the regular season. Can't wait.

#2. Harden
#3. Westbrook

Gotta be Curry, the whole "done more with less" shit doesn't work without the record to back it up. Howard did that in 2011 but Rose got the award.

Lebron is gonna have a hard time winning it now with Perkins on his team because they're gonna end up splitting the credit

It's Curry and it's not close right now. Noone has a huge statistical advantage on him and he's leading his team to the best record in the league.

Trying to put LeBron above Curry is utterly laughable. Their raw numbers are virtually equal while Curry's efficiency takes a giant shit on LeBron's. Not to mention Curry's team has a 10 game lead on Cleveland

JebronLames

Harden, but LeBron will win Finals MVP.
