View Full Version : Most stacked team in the league right now?
Cleveland?
OKC Thunder?
Golden State?
Cavs are a shoe-in the Finals. It'd take a monumental collapse for them not winning the East.
Guards: Irving, Shump, JR Smith, and via Point-Forward LeBron.
SF: LeBron, Miller, Jones, Singler
PF: Love, TT
C: Mozgov, Perkins
They'll probably go undefeated into the Finals.

Okc seems to be the only team to have no holes in their lineup aside from their coach.
Im going with OKC then GSW.

Cavs. Not only are they stacked, but they get to play in the east.
Then OKC, then GS
If OKC was already the biggest non-HCA threat in the league, they are definitely now. Maybe even a threat to win the West.
Guards: The Best PG GOATBrook, Augustin might be the best backup, Waiters, Lamb
SF: Reigning MVP Durant, Lamb, Singler
PF: Serge, Collison, Jones, Novak
C: Finally a legit big in Kanter, plus Adams
Warriors are #1 seed for a reason.
Guards: Best backcourt duo ever!!!!
SF: Barnes and Iggy
That PF/C rotation!!! Green, Lee, Bogut, Speight WOW!!

OP creates a thread asking for opinions. 3 of the first 5 replies are by OP literally responding to his own question. Seems about right for ISH.

I posted brief summary of each team's depth.
Which team is the most stacked is still in question.

Not sure which team I'd choose. The Cavs have the most talented starting five, imo, but GSW's depth is unreal.
What is more interesting is that, in the era of free agency and players being able to force their way where they want, the most star-studded teams in the league reside in Cleveland, Oakland and Oklahoma City.
If the "big market" advantage wasn't an old fashioned advantage prior to this season, it seems to be now.

If any of those teams lose, say, in the second round, they will not be seen as stacked.

Thunder have 2 Top 5 players in the league, Ibaka is top 50 and they have a solid bench with guys like DJ Augistin that averaged 20/10 in february and Kenter Waiters Morrow
Cavs definitely. Every single one of their player would be a regular for any other team.

Cavs in my opinion.

I'm not saying they are the most stacked, I'm just saying they are stacked.
Rondo - multi-time all-star
Ellis - has at times played all-star caliber this year
Parsons - great role player with occasional star-like games
Dirk - nothing needs said here
Chandler - Very good defensive big
Above average bench with vets such as Amare, Harris, Barea, Nelson, Villanueva, Aminu, Jefferson.

Rondo - multi-time all-star Done, cancer
Ellis - has at times played all-star caliber this year yup
Parsons - great role player with occasional star-like games Richard Jefferson is playing right now, and the difference is like zero
Dirk - nothing needs said here He is 50% of what he used to be
Chandler - Very good defensive big i agree, but his health is questionable
Above average bench with vets such as Amare, Harris, Barea, Nelson, Villanueva, Aminu, Jefferson.
The bench is average at best, the only guy who could start on other teams is Harris
