The day when even stats turn against Ninepive, what will he do without the all mighty hand of FG% there with him to shield Parker? Who will defend the honor of this frenchman? Who will challenge the world against all odds in order to clear his name? Can Ninephive survive on his own?

FMVP was 10 years ago, bro...this is about what he's doing this season.

And this season he's among the least effective "stars" in the league.

Have you watched the Spurs this year? He looks terrible. He wasn't great last year either. 2013 was the last time he was a great player.

His small stature and overrated skills are now glaring issues now that he is declining as an athlete

He can no longer craft his way to easy points around the rim and he sucks dick as a playmaker

**** tony parker, he's a bum

He Isos like he's prime Jordan and usually gets his shit swatted.

Statistically he's the 5th worst driver in the league (behind bums like Waiters in OKC, Burks and Sessions).

He's in a slump, but even without his offense he's still a huge + (his defense and rebounding are top-tier).

Parker, however, is honestly the worst defensive player in San Antonio history...and his BS over-dribbling is costing the team.

Tim averaged 32/12 with plantar fasciitis...his knees have been bone-on-bone for half a decade.

Parker doesn't look at all injured. Just fat, sulky, and selfish...grade 1 hamstring strains don't turn you from a top 5-6 player on a title team to one of the league's worst rotation players. :facepalm

Manu basically played with a broken arms against Memphis...and he was still great.

Stop using the injury excuse. He's had this 'injury' since entering the league. He isn't hobbled; he's just shit.

I respect ur opinions too, in fact a lot of the time I have been just a drunk trolling idiot tbh and a lot of the stuff I say I don't even believe in and we probably share a lot of opinions.

The actual reality is I am a fan of Westbrook and think that for once its nice to see someone with so much potential actually reach it. I never thought he would be in the discussion with Durant but I think he has actually surpassed him at this point (maybe not in peak play but definitely this year).

When I first trolled about his vertical I thought noone would take me seriously but some people did so i just kinda rolled with it and kept it going trying to sound more and more serious as it went along. The dude is an absolute freak and a true all around athlete. Ill stop trolling now.

P.S Rondo is my favorite player tho but I can admit he is so far off being in discussion for top PG's right now and it breaks my heart but thats life :(

The whole Spurs team is straight up tired, both physically and mentally. Two straight years to the NBA Finals + aging veterans isn't a great combo. I know it's dumb to ever write off the Spurs... but I would be SHOCKED if they managed to make a playoff run this year.

I figured you were trolling lol, I vaguely recalled you praising Westbrook before so the sudden change was strange.

I still remember Rondo as the guy that dropped 40 points on the Heat in the playoffs and almost won the series. Playoff Rondo was a different beast, nowadays he seems to not give a shit though. :(

He's just worn out, physically and mentally. He'll be back to 20/8 on 50% next season.

Duncan has always said that he'd continue to play as long as he's effective. How ironic is it that he's still going strong and the team around him is crumbling. Will he retire next year - not because he's no longer effective but the team around him isn't?

I'm officially worried. Parker needs to get his head out of his a*s. Hopefully this game got Mills and Green on track. This team looks pathetic - isos, no ball movement, shooting sucks. Parker can't drive and so is useless.

And why is he worn out, physically and mentally? He rested all summer. He's only 32 years old and averaged less than 30 minutes per game last year. There's no excuse. I sincerely hope he's back next season - that $15m/yr at 36 years old contract looks idiotic right now. The way he's playing now, I'd pay him to sit on the bench. C'mon, guys, wake up. Timmy wants to repeat, and he's waiting for you to get your act together.

No disrespect to Timmy, because he's the foundation of this Spurs team... but Tony Parker has been the driving force behind the Spurs the past two seasons. We're talking about a guy who relies on physically dominating his opponents with speed. Combined with a lingering hamstring issue, and it's not surprising Parker is having a sub-par season.

Also, 32 years old isn't exactly young in the Basketball world. We get spoiled with guys like Duncan and Kobe continue to produce into their mid-30's, but that's the exception, not the rule.

False.

We hit our peak last year with Parker on the bench and Patty on the floor. That's when the ball finally started moving -- not with Parker's BS over-dribbling.

Last postseason's ranks...

Duncan: #1 in PER, #1 in WS, #1 in WS/48, #5 in BPM

Parker: #8 in PER, #8 in WS, #13 in WS/48, #12 in BPM

'Driving force' is surely some kind of buzzword? If you're implying that he was even close to being the most valuable Spur, you are sorely mistaken.

That's why I don't get people being surprised at Parker's play this season. Like RoundMound said, he was pretty bad last season too.

Well I'm sure you watch more Spurs games than me, but when I watched the Spurs play the past two seasons, Tony Parker was the only guy on the team breaking down the defense.

I wasn't calling Parker the most valuable player on the Spurs. I was insinuating that his ability to attack the defense is what gets the Spurs offense started. Without that threat, their offense becomes incredibly predictable.

I would be interested in seeing Parker's advanced stats from the 2013 postseason.

Tony's confidence looks absolutely beat down. He's passing up shots he should be taking. There were times where he's dominated the ball in the past but it was okay because he was breaking defenses and more importantly making shots.

Any hope of major run will hinge on him turning it around at least back to average.

It's going to be interesting to see how the rest of this season plays out.

Their 3 pt shooting has dropped what...5 or 6% this year? The announcers for last night's Spurs/Blazers game were pointing at TP's inability to break down defenses this year as the primary reason for the big dropoff.
