Simply amazing how we are months away from LeBron winning a championship for one of the historically worst franchises in NBA history. Praise our LeGod :applause: :applause: :applause:

Really? Because i would take both Gsw and Memphis over them in a series and i expect one of those 2 teams to win the West(i could be wrong though). The Thunder have a slim chance at winning the West but i don't see it given Kd's poor health this season.

You should change the name of your thread to "No team in the East can beat Cleveland in a 7 game series" then it would be more believable.

Hawks are better than last year's Spurs, they just have to prove it.

Again, they just have to prove it.

Hawks are better than last year's Spurs in statistically ever way, but it depends if they show up in the playoffs. Obviously if Hawks are out in the 2nd round or ECF, they are nowhere near the Spurs of last year.

I'd be content over a ECF elimination, though.

No they aren't. It's a team of 3rd options and overachievers. They are a regular season juggernaut. And I wouldn't be shocked if they get knocked out in the first round.

Every Hawk starter averages over 12 ppg.

Can you say the same for CLE?

No way Hawks get eliminated by Miami, Charlotte, or Brooklyn.

The Cavs have a shot, especially since Rose's injury will probably take the Bulls out of contention. However, Atlanta will still be a serious test for them. Keep in mind Irving and Love have no playoff experience. Even if they get out of the East, the WCF champion is going to be one tall order for the Cavs. Let's see how they do tonight against Golden State.

DeMarre Carroll is averaging 11.8 though :confusedshrug:

Looks like you can't say 12 ppg+ for either team.

Without Lebron this Cavs team would have the worst record in the league or at least bottom 3.

It's amazing to me how much of a game-changer Lebron is to any team. Instant contending with this guy...

It's funny because if you replace LeBron with DeMarre Carroll they actually lose more games and probably gets Coach Bud fired.

Yes with empty stats and ball hog.

Both are detriments to the team. Contributes nothing but negative impact.

Is 11.8 equal to 12? No?

If you do round up, Cleveland ends up with 4/5 players averaging 12 ppg+ (Mozgov has averaged a respectable 10.5 with Cleveland), 3 players averaging 17+, and 2 averaging 22+. That's more attractive than two borderline 12s, a 15, and 2 17s.

Well we have to wait and see how the team plays in the playoffs since they don't have a lot of experience, but I don't see anyone beating them in the East on paper. The West is a different story, but Cleveland has a shot.

In hindsight, yes. But that wasn't the thought at the time. Sheed was considered the only star caliber player when he was signed mid-season.
