Depends, if Dirk was able to repeat that same insanely good playoff run then I'd say they'd come out of the West, but IDK if they would have been able to stop Miami the second time around. Lebron would definitely have played a lot better the second time around.

No I don't think that they would have. Barea played better in the playoffs than he'd probably ever played and Dirk was playing out of his mind as well. They kind of caught Lightning in a bottle that year and I don't think there was much chance they could have repeated. It was an awesome run that year and a great playoffs by Dirk but really all of the team stepped up at one point or another. Kidd was a year older and I just don't think that they could have put it together for another year.
