Are you guys OCD about avoiding scores when you're DVRing a game?

If there's a big game on, I generally can't watch it when it airs since I am normally working until night. So I'll DVR it and avoid all scores/NBA sites until after I've finished watching the game. Am I the only one who does this shit or are some of you guys also OCD about this type of stuff? Sometimes I cave and check the score on NBA GameTime after a quarter or so, but I generally don't look at the scores for a game I'm vested in.

I try to be but cot damn is it ever hard. Especially when all the places I frequent online (Facebook,ISH,Reddit,etc.) all like to talk basketball and spoil it for me.

Yeah it's incredibly difficult to avoid. I have league pass and while you have the option to turn off scores you still have to go to nba.com to open LP so it dosn't work that well lol

I've got a Whatsapp group formed which includes my brother and best friend where we mainly shoot the shit about sports, especially while the Raps are playing. Makes it even more difficult at times...

I can't watch a game that isn't live if I'm viewing for the excitement of the game.

I'd only watch a game that was on last night if I hear it was good, or if a player had a big night.

I miss quite a few Spurs games live but I found out the score as soon as I can. I usually watch the game after just to see how the team is doing.

If I miss the game and find out the outcome before I see it, most likely won't watch unless something special happened or its a playoff game.

Sometimes I will watch a live replay of the games on NBA TV, ESPN, etc. I try my best to avoid the ticker on the bottom. At times, it's downright annoying. But my mind will wander and totally forget about the game being a replay, then I will look down and see the final score for the game I'm watching and everything is ruined. One of these days I'm going to take a long piece of tape and stick it to the bottom of my TV screen to block the ticker.

lol yea I turn off games when I am 99% sure it's gonna be an L. Did that last night with Illinois. Then if it turns out to be a W, I will watch the tape.

As for NBA, I tape games and sometimes put them on when I exercise. I don't care enough about the NBA to be like AUGH ****K. But I will turn off bad ball.
