Carter 2 era Wayne > 98% of the game today.

I could see why people might not like Kendrick though, his wordplay/lyricism is not upper echelon in my opinion (better than most, but not top tier) and his choppy flow can put some people off. However, his rhyme schemes are intricate and his storytelling/content is always dope. Both his last two albums were good to great material, excited for this next project whenever it drops.

Lil Wayne may have more good songs, maybe.

But his % of good songs in his catalogue is about 25%, he has put out a ton of horrible music with some of the weakest lyrics in history.

Kendrick hasn't been around as long, so he may not have the number of hits that Wayne has accumulated.
But 95% of the music Kendrick has put out has been great.

Quality over quantity.

Just my opinion.

I'd way rather buy a new Kendrick album than a new Weezy album.

Wayne did make some great music. However, 70% of his stuff is mediocre or worse.

Kendrick is much more consistent with his stuff, and I think he peaks higher too (I haven't heard a Wayne song better than Keisha's Song, but that's just me).

Me and My Drank was the shit though.
