He couldn't be more wrong. Just look how good the Heat have been without him. Obviously.

The Rock: "Why are you 2-for-5 in the Finals?"

LeBron: "See, my team..."

The Rock: "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHY YOU'RE 2-FOR-5 IN THE FINALS! NOW SHUT YOUR HOLE AND KNOW YOUR DAMN ROLE!"

Brian Windhorst is a clown...Lebron has said NOTHING about the MVP this season. Why are you, OP, bringing up something from the article from last may? Who the **** cares what he said last may?

"James does care about team success first, but he also cares deeply about individual awards. That includes right now and the developing MVP race. He has been privately wondering why he's not more involved in the national conversation on the matter, considering his play in the past quarter of the season."

Really? Tell us more about these PRIVATE thoughts he has, Brian.

So...That's what you took away from this article. :facepalm

To be fair there's not much you can take away from a Brian Windhorst article except for the fact that he's the fattest ****ing leech in the history of the world

That may be true (in reality it's not, Durant was clearly superior), but why does LeBron have to say it?

He's got to be up there with the least professional greats, tbh.
There's nothing wrong with what he said. His individual season was good enough to win the MVP but he also realizes that team success plays an equally big role.

Let's not act like he said his team ****ed him over

Whats wrong with Windy?
He's a fat **** who pulls shit out of his ass to come up with articles.

Hell this entire article was based around 2 sentences Lebron said LAST YEAR and what Windhorst THINKS Lebron is THINKING

He's the worst ESPN has to offer, ahead of Jemele Hill

According to LeBron, FullofWind, I mean Windhorst, knows him more than he knows himself. So...

He said Windhorse knows him better than his own mother knows him. It was obviously a satirical statement

Winded. You get Winded from chasing Lebron and being fat. It's past-tense.

What's wrong with feeling competitive? He played pretty well last year too although objectively KD was better.

Isn't that what you kids call being "alpha"?

He can feel or think whatever he wants. Doesn't mean that it's a rational thought.

I wouldn't award him the MVP after seeing his finals performance game 1

So if LeBron's team doesn't help him with an MVP and a championship, he is gone. Well, that isn't news.

Windhorst has had it out for LeBron lately. What's happened to him? :lol

Lol, talk about reaching when there's nothing there. He didn't blame his team at all. If anything he's being critical of himself, though I don't think team record was much of a factor in last year's MVP voting. Durant had a phenominal season and deserved the award.

After the playoffs started, I'm sure he did.

Would you award KD the MVP after Reggie Jackson saved him from a first round bow out?

I'm 29 and I wouldn't consider that alpha. KD was the clear cut best in the league. Because I go out on the court and try my hardest doesn't mean I'll automatically think I'm the best. LeBron is crazy for thinking that. A healthy KD is a scoring beast.

There is more to basketball than just scoring.
Lebron's all around game is much more valuable than Durant's points.

No, no it was not. Not last year at least, Durant was better by every measure.

You do realize that Durant averages 7+ rpg and averaging 6 apg last season while playing off the ball, right?

The 1st Round matters in MVP Voting?

Wade should've been 2005 & 2010 MVP.
