Memphis should have beaten okc last year but zbo got expelled. They prob would have gone on to win it all but the Spurs were also pretty good. All the teams seem to have taken a step back but Memphis is still beasting. I think the below:
GSW - too soft for Memphis
Spurs - taken big step back
OKC - soft as without big perk
Portland/Houston - cmon now
Cleveland - too inexperienced

Memphis title favourites atm

Cleveland matches up very well with Memphis

Prob the only team that has the skill to get to the rim and put zbo and gasol in trouble (Kyrie and lbj). Doubt zbo is going to like defending love at the 3 either

Memphis vs Cleveland is almost a certainty, unless OKC breaks through.

Team-ball championship only comes once in a decade.

Pistons did it 2004, Spurs did it in 2014, we have to wait until 2024 for a team without a superstar to win it all.

Grizzlies/Hawks Finals is a nightmare for the NBA. It wouldn't even draw a 1.0 rating.

Cleveland would beat them imo.

They got a nice team, but "likely" to win it all? I don't think so. Especially for a team with no super star. Problem is people fall in love with these type of teams. But there are certain teams in the west that can take advantage of them still. And they would lose to Cleveland in a series. No doubt imo.

Agreed

This isn't Miami Big three where any team with a quality frontcourt had a distinct advantage over them...

This Cleveland team is about as well rounded as any team in the league...

Imagine if they had Varejao as well

i'd love to hear what players in the league think about perkins. like if he actaully plays good defense, or dirty, or whatever. he just looks like a shitty player who was lucky to be so tall.
