Miami Heat played 4 consecutive nba finals (2011-2014)

2011: they lost against dallas in 6

2013: 5 seconds away of losing against the spurs

2014: they lost against the spurs in 5

so.....

HOW DID THEY WON IN 5 AGAINST OKC WITH DURANT (MVP CALIBER PLAYER) WESTBROOK (MVP CALIBER PLAYER) HARDEN (MVP CALIBER PLAYER) GOAT DEFENSIVE PF SERGE IBAKA (and good defenders in Perkins and sefolosha)

they nearly lost the 3 other finals but won easily against okc....i must miss something...

Hey now Silkk... you know damn well that Westbrook is nobody's bitch. He's stupid and inferior, but too alpha to be anyone's c.um towel.

Durant though... :oldlol:

couple of hours, spurs won 3 games of the finals in 2013 and just a couple of seconds aways of winning games 6 and 7. in 2014 won 4 out of 5 (the only close game was game 2...the one miami won in the last seconds).

so the spurs won 7/12 games and could have won 10/12.

dallas won 4/6 and could have won game 3 at home.

and all the okc superstars won just 1 out of 5....:facepalm

People like to forget about Durant being an absolute non-factor when it came to defense, rebounding. and playmaking.

This!!!!!

Bosh out rebounded Ibaka, Perkins and Durant in one of the games. He matched their total in another. Bosh went Rodzilla on their asses. That allowed LeBron to attack the paint/post at ease.

You let Bosh Spice eat you alive on the glass, you don't deserve to win.

But of course, Harden was a ghost and Westbrook was a chucker. Durant never got blamed because he scored 30+ PPG.

It was actually a close 5-game series, with exception to one game (Game 5? close out game). It wasn't an easy win as OP stated.

Exactly. But people see the PPG from KD and let it overshadow how terrible he played everywhere else. They tried hiding him on Chalmers at one point, and Mario went apeshit :oldlol: The funny part is you will see people (LeBron haters) try to play the "inexperience" card for OKC that year. Despite them playing in the WCF the year before. And arugably playing the championship Mavs better than anyone else.

Harden was choking like sh*t in the Finals that year. He was nowhere near as good as he is now, and Westbrook was playing a lot of Hero-ball back then as well. OKC was in utter disarray at the time.

How often does a team full of kids win a championship?

And plus, all of Miami's role players were big game players. Chalmers, Battier, Mike Miller

OKC's role players? Non-existent.

Took the champs to 6 games in the WCF. Age excuse = INVALID.

OKC's offense was laughable iso-ball trash coasting on talent back then.

Well, Miami's was too, but not as bad.

A few factors, Miami matched up better against Okc, Okc was young and not ready to deliver on the big stage, Lebron was extra motivated after his embarrassing finals loss the year prior, and besides 3 of Miami's wins were close and easily could've gone Okc's way.

Yep.

And the refs clearly favored Miami. OKC should have been up 2-0 in the series and no way LeBron and co. could've come back.

I still consider OKC 2012 champions. LeBron proved nothing to me that year. And the year after that he choked against the spurs, had no urgency, and needed Ray Allen to hit the biggest shot in NBA history.

LeBron STILL needs to prove himself on the big stage.

All of the games except the last one were actually very close and couldve gone either way. Mike Miller started bombing away from three in that final game and OKC kinda just gave up. but obviously you didnt watch any of the games which is why you would ask this simple question in the first place

edit: Durant was also in foul trouble alot in this series. he didnt play as much as he shouldve

Joey Crawford happened. Mike Miller/Battier hitting every 3 pointer they took happened. And Harden pulled a LeBald.

Well, the Thunder lacked stars with championship/Finals experience, Westbrook and Harden were yet to be MVP caliber players, and Ibaka is definitely not GOAT defensive PF.

OKC were young and lack the experience on the big stage. Same thing happened the year before with the Mavs. Heat had veteran players and Lebron wasn't going to choke two finals in a row.
