CP3 and the Clippers seem to play better when Griffin isn't on the floor with them. Blake the ball stopper like Carmelo.

Didn't the Clippers do the same after Paul was injured last season?

Didn't the Clippers do the same after Paul was injured last season?Difference is they're beating elite teams this year, they beat nothing but below .500 teams and lost to every good team they faced when CP went out last year.

And no, they're not better without Blake, they have absolutely no chance of doing anything without him in the playoffs. You're never better when you replace a top 10 ish player with Spencer ****ing Hawes.

Im so nba'd out

What the hell are you talking about. They're 5 and 5 over their last 10. You make it seem as though this they're on a tear right now.

They're not better they are different and this version isn't too bad either..

We'll see more as the sample size grows larger and teams start making adjustments...

edit: 7 games 4-3 without him

Yeah 5-5 but with these opponents:

Chi, OKC, Hou, Mem, Mem, Sac, Dal, Cle, Tor, SAS

Basically all top playoff teams.

But, no, they aren't better.

Op is right. We will do the Clippers a favor. Suns will trade their two best players in Bledsoe n Markieff for BG

It has more to do with playing Blake and Jordan at the same time. Without Blake, the Clippers only put one guy on the box, and are able to spread the court. Think about the kind of shots Blake has been taking this season... mostly long jumpers.

Also, offense has never been an issue for the Clippers, and that's mainly what Blake brings to the table. Honestly, this Clippers team would probably struggle more if they lost Jordan, as he's the only guy on the team that's capable of protecting the rim.

They were also better without Chris Paul last year when he was injured. The team is playing harder.

Clips look great when Reddick, Crawford and Barnes knock down 3s. When they don't, the Clips look bad. I do think Blake and DJ are not the perfect compliment now that they have stopped running but no way the Clips are better with guys like Hawes and Davis on the floor.
