Is there anyone more of a wild card? In January this chucker averaged 21ppg on 20 shots...this month 30ppg on 21 shots...How is it possible to go from such two extremes? Be Russell Chuckbrook I guess.

When Oscar Robertson was accomplishing those numbers he was playing 45 minutes per game in an era that was played at a pace about 20% faster than today.

Westbrook does it playing 10 minutes per game fewer and a much slower pace.

28+/9+/12+ for an entire month - MJ in March 1989

he did it on 50% FG too - he's the only player ever to have these numbers... besting even the great Oscar..

3ball will not rest until everyone on the internet realizes that Jordan is statistically superior to every player in the NBA, and there is no way they could be better than him in any aspect.

It's a thankless job, but someone has to do it. Godspeed 3ball.

too bad MJ is a relic of the past who couldn't hang in today's NBA. nobody cares about his stats or accomplishments anymore, they're irrelevant

i gave lebron credit for being better at filling the lane on the break.. :confusedshrug:

also, it seems you are unaware that Jordan only put up those numbers because his coach had put him at point guard to fill in for an injured player.

but you shouldn't be shocked that when the GOAT was asked to pinch-hit at point-guard for 24 games, he played point guard as well as anyone ever has (http://ballislife.com/michael-jordan-could-of-been-the-best-point-guard-ever-want-proof/).

i mean, seriously, doesn't it make sense that if you asked the GOAT to play point guard, he would be the best point guard in the league?.. that's what the GOAT is supposed to do.

Unfortunately, we don't have his "official" blocks, but in the month of March in 1968, Wilt played 13 games, and posted 11 triple-doubles, including an NBA record of nine in a row. Oh, and in the two games in which he missed a triple double, he had games of 8 and 9 assists.

Overall, in 13 straight games...

26.8 ppg
23.3 rpg
11.9 apg
.678 FG%

08/09 Lebron and Westbrook this year are the only players to ever average 40/10/10 per 100 possessions for a season in the history

I'm not sure if you were under a rock or hiding under Lebron's underwear but the Thunder have been injured all year.

Empty stats you speak of? Are they anything like Lebron's numbers against the Magic in 2009?
